In 2014, a ridiculous nerd of a man (Rhys/Puck) posted a request on Reddit, looking for people to play Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) with on a regular basis. What resulted, in only a matter of months, was one table that turned into two, then ten, then twenty until Dutch Potato Gaming (DPG) was established to organise the 400+ players and dozens of volunteers involved in D&D games every month.
Since then DPG has been instrumental in promoting D&D in Brisbane, assisted in the publishing of board games, hosted indie developer nights, co-created the popular Dice and Pixels podcast and twice operated Australia's largest competitive D&D event - Labyrinth of the Gods.
In 2020, however, the world changed and the entire gaming landscape with it. Stores closed, venues became unavailable and social interactions moved from the table to the webcam. DPG's core focus on events currently is not entirely viable but our commitment to the industry remains the same.
The DPG Store aims to provide gamers and caffeine addicts a single source to find incredible resources, tools, books, artwork and other hand-picked items for use in their home games. If you are looking for something specific but can't find it, let us know! Otherwise, try the coffee and grab some awesome stuff for your next game!
